The Colorado College Bluegrass Ensemble is an instrumental and vocal band created to provide for students a challenging and creative environment to develop material with the feel and structure of bluegrass music. The ensemble draws from traditional sources including Bill Monroe, Flatt and Scruggs, Jimmy Martin, and the Stanley Brothers. The ensemble receives academic credit and is by audition only.
